We're big fans of the films of Quentin Tarantino here at Cinema Shock. It's no surprise that, like us, Tarantino wears his love of movies on his sleeve, and his movies show it, often filled with references and homages to the movies that he loves.
And this is most apparent in his two-part revenge opus KILL BILL.
For this, our first series of 2021, we're going to spend several weeks discussing some of the films that are most overtly referenced in KILL BILL.
To kick things off, we're headed to Italy to discuss one of Tarantino's beloved spaghetti westerns, and one whose influence on KILL BILL will be very apparent to anyone who watches it.
Join us in this episode as we discuss Giulio Petroni's DEATH RIDES A HORSE.
